Roomy Interior

Cons:

Had nothing but problems with this car and unreliable.

We are also on our 3rd Alternator! I'm going tomorrow to trade it in and give someone else the headache. I travel alot and need to have a vehicle I can depend on and not worry or wonder if I'm going to break down.

Review:

I have 91,000 miles on it. The bracket under the drivers seat broke, the dealer quoted me $600.00 for the part alone. I figured it would be $150.00 at least for labor. I took the seat out myself and had it welded for $40.00.Also if your service engine light comes on, check that your gas cap is tight. If it says on after a couple of days disconnect your battery for 24 hours. It worked for me and saved me $75.00 for sure. I will buy another Murano when the new body style comes out and I like it. I absolutely love the CVT transmission. This will be my sons college vehicle. It handles like the day I bought it almost four years ago.

Pros:

Plenty of room, good on gas, we've kept up the periodical checks with the dealership so we haven't had any major work that needed to be done. Dealership has been terrific to work with.

Cons:

The radio sound goes in and out every now and then. Other than that can't really go wrong - its a Bose! The battery has just gone out - could be that we didn't get the recall taken care of yet - no biggie.

Review:

Fast and fun to drive. Very comfortable, lots of room. My husband is 6'6" and there is still room in the back seat for our teenager to sit comfortably. Ride is smooth. We owned a Nissan Armada and unfortunately traded it in for something else. Big mistake. We only want to own Nissans now.

Pros:

Rides beautifully, comfortable, roomy more than most I have seen. Good gas mileage

Cons:

Unknown causes to include tranny which I haven't experienced but I am on my fourth alternator

Review:

I loved this car when I got it. BUT...my alternator has been replaced or will be on Monday. No response from Nissan but understand that the 2003 had major problems. Having only 34,000 miles I am afraid to think of what I will face if I keep the car. Nissan needs to assist people with the 2003 model Murano. If I had only listened to CR DO NOT BUY A FIRST YEAR MODEL.....Period, end of story.

Pros:

Looks, Power and gas mileage is good on highway. Does not need to use High test gas.

Cons:

Nissan Canada is not very friendly or supportive to its customers. Plastic interior needs improvement.

Review:

Purchased new in August 2003. I have 65,000 KM. I did purchase the extended warranty I really enjoy the ride, fun to drive and has lots of power. I will purchase another one.
