CHEAP INTERIOR, CARPET CHEAP, MIDDLE CONSOLE BROKE EASILY, CUP HOLDER TOO DEEP, PASSENGER SIDE NO POWER SEAT, RADIO NO GOOD.
Review:
I like this car, but at 82,000, I am having to put transmission fluid in it too often.  It stalls with no warning and will not drive until the transmission fluid is put in.  It has been to the mechanic twice for this and we have been told each time, there is no problem with the transmission, no leaks, etc.  No one can tell us why the transmission is slipping.  Also we have problems with the brakes 2 times. The problems outweigh the the good points.  I no longer enjoy driving this car.

Pros:
Beautiful car, good gas mileage, roomy for the price
Cons:
Too many mechanical, electrical problems
Review:
We had to have a new motor within six weeks of buying our 2.5 2003 Altima. (Of course Nissan replaced the motor, because the car was brand new.)  The motor was leaking antifreeze, yet even now we can smell antifreeze.  We have had two CD players and they have both gone out.  Now the air conditioner runs cold and then hot.  A mechanic told me the other day that we have a "monster electrical problem".  Yes, the tires wear out really fast if not rotated every 3,000 miles and they still wear out to fast.  I really believed in Nissan when I bought the car, as I had previously owned a Nissan pickup for seventeen years.  It was still running beautifully when someone hit it and totaled it.  Now I don't plan on ever purchasing a Nissan product again or even a used car of a different make off of their lot!  They have gotten all the money from me that they will ever get.

Pros:
Loved the style from day 1 and with decent tires was always good in the new england winter
Cons:
Ridden with problems and became too expensive to keep once it hit 90K...Nissan as a company is actually worse then this car
Review:
This car was ridden with issues, mostly at Nissan's expense until about 90K.  6 recalls in 3 years, then a major engine failure at about 90K, the catalytic converter went and damaged the engine.  As I search the web, I am not alone in this problem.  I fixed the cat problem, and decided to trade the car in and purchased a Camry, cut my losses!

Pros:
comfort, style, options, gas mileage
Cons:
none I can think of to this point. How about, trunk is too big???
Review:
having owned multiple Nissan's over the years, I can assuredly say, the Altima 2.5s is right on target. More options available and more styles available than anyone else out there. Bose stereo, excellent. Power features easy to use and in the right places. Tilt and telescoping steering as well as dash cluster giving readouts of everything mileage related and fuel efficiency. Great looks all the way around. Even the rocker panels are 'stylish'. Lots of room, and 4 passengers can be very comfortable, even at 6 ft tall + . The 4 cylinder has plenty of oomph in the right ranges too. Spirited tight driving is fun in this car and the gas goes down oh so slowly...which is nice.

I love this car, as does my wife, and this is always a good thing.
