Pros:
Looks, power. |
Cons:
MPG, little head and leg room for big guys |
Review:
I just bought my 2003 Supercharged frontier w/ 82,000 miles on it. Not a
single rattle on the whole truck, great acceleration, too much at times
(spinning the mud tires) and great looks. However, I'm 6'1" and I feel like
I'm sitting on the floor and the steering wheel is in my lap. Wish the cab
was a little more spacious. |

Pros:
Totally reliable. Like looks. Nice handling. A/C here in Sacramento
is an absolute must and this A/C unit can make the inside like a freezer
even in the summer. Heater warms up in only 2-5 minutes. I love this
truck. Nissan Rocks! |
Cons:
I wish it achieved better gas mileage esp. now that prices are so high. |
Review:
I purchased this Frontier new from the lot in Davis, CA for only
$10,477. No one could come even close to that price at other dealerships.
I purchased it with the full blown Gold Plus bumper to bumper guarantee and
I have not even had to use it even once. I now have put over 55,000 on it
and it still works like a champ! I have been very happy with this truck.
It is the first new vehicle I have ever owned and I treat it like my baby. |

Pros:
Great MPG, Handling, Braking, Trans, etc.
I LOVE this Truck, and will keep it until the wheels go square!! |
Cons:
Could have used a better Stereo, and
perhaps, higher gear ratio in 5th gear. When you are traveling at 70 - 75
mph, the RPM's are around 3100. Should be around 22 to 2500 rpm to help the
fuel economy. |
Review:
This truck is great. Purchased it last
year, and have had no complaints. This truck gets 22mpg in town, and 26.7 on
the highway. The only thing I wish I had was a better stereo. |

Gas mileage sucks. I get around 12-13 miles per gallon.
This includes the highway. I could have gotten a hummer if I wanted this
kind of gas mileage. |

Pros:
Had earlier Nissan truck (Hardbody) and they are
100% reliable, First Frontier and a nightmare |
Cons:
Dealer support |
Review:
purchased an used 03 V6XE CC, Truck shudder
under hard acceleration in first gear, Dealer refuse to fix and stated that
this is normal characteristic of ALL Frontiers. Called NissanUSA and they
stated that if the computer did not shows a diagnose error, they wont fix
under warranty. |

Pros:
Automatic hubs work great, and engine is very strong, dependable truck,
great for hunting and hauling loads. |
Cons:
No manual hubs for this year model yet. please let me know if you hear
anything. |
Review:
I love my Nissan Frontier 4x4. This has been a very dependable, and
useful truck for hunting and going to the creek with my buddies. I never
worry about it getting stuck because this is a very capable truck from
factory. |

Pros:
style, high quality feel, dependable, V6 has
good power, interior style |
Cons:
20/17 mpg with a manual V6, few aftermarket
parts |
Review:
V6 has good power and acceleration. Truck has
31,000 miles - no mechanical problems. Comfortable ride, truck feels solid
over bumps, rear end doesn't feel light when accelerating, no rattles or
noises. A/C works great in Texas with 100 degree plus summer temps. Truck is
a real eye catcher. Love the cockpit style instrument panel. |

Pros:
Dependability, strong V6 for it's class, stylish, better
quality feel |
Cons:
Bad gas mileage, limited aftermarket products
availability for this model. |
Review:
I purchased my truck new straight from the dealership. It
rode better, drove better, and felt heavier as if it were a better-made
truck. The supercharger was a big plus too! After having the truck for
about 3 years, I have logged 50,000 (+or-) miles commuting and the
occasional weekend travel. The gas mileage with this truck due is bad due to
it being supercharged and four-wheel drive. The gas mileage has ranged from
12.5 city to 17.5 highway depending on interstate or US highway speeds (back
to 14-15 at interstate speeds).
The only problems I have had with the truck are the window motor on the
driver door, two horns flooded from auto car wash, and the steering gearbox
seals leaked. In 50,000 miles, NOTHING mechanically has failed or left me
stranded. I would drive my truck across country right now without hesitation
or not wondering if the truck would make it. |

Pros:
Small and less expensive than most trucks |
Cons:
Needs too much mechanical attention, and does not seem to be as well
made as most Nissan autos. |
Review:
For a four-cylinder truck, the gas mileage was poor on the window
sticker; yet it was even poorer on the road. Also, it developed problems
with acceleration (A/T) at about 20k miles. Additionally, the AC compressor
rattled when the car was driven off the lot, with service tech's approval
saying, "that's normal for the frontier." Now, at 50k miles, we have no more
AC. We've used it as a light-duty truck, and have had very heavy-duty
problems with it. |
