Pros:
Great looks, durable, and reliable, on and off pavement |
Cons:
Less than stellar gas mileage, lower than expected power, feels like
driving a boat |
Review:
Bought a used 2004 Fronty CC LB a couple months ago. She's breaking
through 60K miles now and the A/C blows COLD (even here in AZ), the interior
has held up perfect, and there doesn't seem to be any mechanical problems in
the 3K miles I've driven her (on and off road). 4WD works good, although it
takes a few feet to kick on/off. Power does seem a bit low for a V6
(compared to Toyota 4Runner). Noise is a bit loud but that's for nit-picky
people, I don't mind it...and I have big mud-terrain tires. I have complete
confidence in this truck wherever I take it, whatever the terrain... |

Pros:
100.000 No problems at all |
Cons:
I hate the damn pan under the oil filter but everything else is good. |
Review:
I bought my 04 in July of 04 and to this date ive put over 100.000 on it
with no problems at all.I bought a 4x4 but since I bought it we havent had
any winter lol so I guess someday ill get to play in the snow. |

Pros:
Size and convenience. |

Low tow rating for a V6. |
Review:
I like my truck. I can drag my kids to school or yard waste to the dump
with ease. It's small enough to park easily yet big enough for the jobs I
need it for. I like the mileage a lot better after installing a new cold air
intake system. It's a good truck. |

Pros:
Good value. Good gas mileage for running around town in. |
Cons:
Performed poorly in minor front end crash. |
Review:
We have an '04 Nissan Frontier. All was well until a MINOR front end
crash - an accident at about 10mph caused over $6000 in damage including a
bent frame. Have since checked safety rating with Insurance Institute and
found it to have gotten the "poor" rating. Hope we never get in a serious
accident. |
