Pros:
Powerful engine |
Cons:
Lousy interior, radio, brakes, windows, turning radius, gas mileage,
service, and the quality is worse than you can imagine. |
Review:
Quality is extraordinarily bad. Chintzy. Cheap. An embarassment. I can't
tell you how bad. Service at the Nissan dealers is of little help. They are
interested in making money or saving their time, not satisfying their
customers. Interior of the truck is a disgrace. Gas mileage is pitiful.
Truck is loud and obnoxious. Turning radius is terrible. The brakes
"judder." Wish I had bought a Ford or Chevy, or a Honda Ridgeline or new
Tacoma (though the Japanese trucks are overpriced). I will never buy another
Nissan. (BTW, I also test drove the Altima also a few years ago and it
didn't come close to the Honda Accord that I bought). |

GAS MILEAGE IS THE ONLY DOWNSIDE. HOWEVER, IT IS COMPARABLE WITH THE
OTHER TRUCKS IN IT'S CLASS |

I HAVE AN 04 CREW CAB WITH EVERY POSSIBLE OPTION. HAVE NEVER HAD A
SINGLE PROBLEM WITH THIS TRUCK THAT NOW HAS 22,00 MILES ON IT. I GET
COMPLIMENTS EVERY WHERE I GO. I TOW MY 8500 POUND BOAT ABOUT 10 TIMES A YEAR
WITHOUT FEAR OR A PROBLEM. RESEARCHED THE BIG 3 AND THEY DON'T COMPARE. 2
CO-WORKERS WITH RAM 1500'S HAVE REPLACED THE TRANSMISSIONS WITH LESS THAN
10K ON THEM. |

Pros:
Great engine and offroad performance. With the locker on it just swims
in the mud at my hunting lease. Blows away trucks with open diff.s. And I
love the mirrors! |
Cons:
Too much loose-fitting plastic. |
Review:
40Kmi.since 5/04 - no major complaints. Have not had the reported brake
problems. Brakes started squeaking at 25Kmi.; serviced by BrakeCheck - no
problems since. Similar brake life in my Suburban. Two irritating rattles-
in moon roof and one up front (loose AC condenser fan?). The engine is
great; overall fit/finish is not - lot's of cheesy, loose external plastic -
wheel wells, window trim, etc. I have the jittery windshield wiper problem
at 65+mph. Good service by Mossy Nissan in Houston - they work until it's
right, and provide a free service if they don't get it right at first. |

Pros:
More power than any other truck. |
Cons:
brakes were an early problem but they are fixed now. |
Review:
It's no secret the Titan has been kicking ass in the market so the other
mfrs have to pay people to say bad things about the Titan. Remember, Ford
was giving $6000 rebates on the new F150 because it was such a great truck.
Some of these opinions are written by paid bloggers who read the forums and
then write their "reviews". If you want to know about the truck ask a real
person. |

Pros:
Great handling. E-lcoker. |
Cons:
Little too much plastic in interior but it actually makes it easier to
keep clean. Gas mileage about 14 mph with the 4X4 offroad package crew cab. |
Review:
I've had zero problems out of my truck purchased 10/04. I now have over
30K miles and still going strong. This is the best driving truck I have ever
had teh pleasure to own. Beats my Ford F-150 by a long shot! |
