Pros:
great power , lots of room |
Cons:
poor customer service , poor reliability , poor dealer service , no
responsibility |
Review:
purchased truck in sept. 2004 and have had problems ever since .
rear-end failed in October 2005 and the dealer has not received repair parts
from Nissan as of 1/22/06 . after being told by Nissan that it would be 2
weeks in November 2005 . the dealer has not fixed one of the technical
service bulletins . Nissan has refused to return e-mails or phone calls and
have actually been reported to hang up on distressed customers. bottom line
Nissan has produced a sub-par truck and doesn't care about its customers or
fixing the problems with the truck . |

Pros:
Awesome interior space, excellent performance, great ground clearance
and step in height. Very cheap price next to Dodge, Chevy, and Ford. |
Cons:
Unreliable with documented serious problems. Annoying with poor build
quality that leads to squeaks and rattles. Poor paint that causes rusting.
Bed side rail caps that allow water to channel into bed with tonneau covers.
Overall poor build quality and none existant R&D. SHAME ON YOU NISSAN!!!! |
Review:
Check all the Titan forums and you'll see how problem plaqued this truck
is. Even the late 2005's have severe problems. The 2 worst are the brakes
and the rear ends that fail. Both documented very well on the Titan Forums.
Even after the permanent brake judder fix, had complete brake failure. Seems
several have had this along with Armada owners. VERY DANGEROUS, yet Nissan
can't find the problem.Besides the serious problems above,
the truck has been falling apart since day 1 off the lot. Electronic
problems as window switches and radio. Interior problems as bad window
seals, carpeting, and seat fabric. Another well documented problem is the
paint that's overly thin. Chips to bare metal and rusts immediately. One
word, POS. Doubt it? Check the forums. |

Pros:
Great looks, great power. |
Cons:
Seats poorly made, fabric is too soft. Truck needed more testing before being
released. |
Review:
I only have 14,800 miles on my truck. So far it has been to the dealership 8
times for the following problems. 4wd light, seat covers coming loose,
brakes, recalls and the electric windows not operating properly. This is the
worst Nissan I have ever owned. I have had more problems with this than a 93
Nesssan p.u. that I owned for 11 years with 185,000 miles. When I called Nissan
consumer affairs, they acted like they could care less and were not helpful
at all. I am considering selling this truck and buying a Tundra. By the way,
I live over an hour a way from the nearest dealership, so this is a big
hassle to take it in. If you do the math, I have to take it to the
dealership every 2,312 miles and have to put 120 miles on it to get it there
and bring it back home. And also, the Goodyear tires have a lot wear. I will
be lucky if they last to 25,000 miles. |

Pros:
Stout engine, but what good does that do when you're afraid to use it, for
fear of breaking the drivetrain. |
Cons:
Having to drive a 5000lb,monster horsepower full-size truck like a grannys
Cadillac because you think it will break if you drive it like a truck. |
Review:
I bought the Titan because it is comfortable powerful and different than the
Big 3. What I didn't count on, was how poorly made the truck really is.
Let's see how many things that would be unacceptable in other trucks are
considered normal for the Nissan. Engine, transmission, rear-end, HVAC
noise, within guidelines. Radio has poor reception, auto windows don't go
back up, rear glass leaks, seat fabric separates all normal. 49, yes 49
TSB's in 2 model years any of the Americans would be slaughtered in the
press and forums for that kind of performance. Anybody want to but a Titan? |
