Pros:
engine power, ride, interior room, looks, engine
Cons:
brakes until fixed, to many small issues, paint, captains chair uncomfortable, dash quality, finding cheaper tires, tailgate plastic cover
Review:
Great engine great ride but to many bugs. Finally got the brakes fixed right after 6 times to dealer i have some of the little nuisance problems listed on service bulletins. Paint seems crappy i had a ford Countour before this and after 5 years the car paint still looked new this truck looks like 20 years old already. Tailgate cover is crap had the bed sprayed with aftermarket linex liner a lot better than Nissan's crap. Dash is cheap plastic over all the funny thing is the truck is reliable just to many little things.

Pros:
Powerplant, Drivetrain, towing, 4x4 capability
Cons:
Wide open rear doors, lot of plastic, small nit picks due to first year model
Review:
I'll start with my issues. Firstly, the 4lo light occasionally flashes in 2wd, no idea why and neither does the dealer. This in no way affects the performance of the truck, which is outstanding with a K&N intake. The body style perturbed me at first but it has grown on me. Have had problems with the driver side rear suicide door not opening, had a part replaced under warranty to fix. Haven't had the brake problems that other owners have had, 20k miles and no drivetrain problems. Follow the break-in cycle folks and you won't destroy your axles! Tows great, excellent performer off-road, smooth trannie. Small back seat but then I need the bed space more. Overall, easily the best 1/2 ton truck out there.

Runs Great, Tows Great, Looks Great., Brakes are CRAP!

Pros:
Power!!
Cons:
Brakes, Plastic
Review:
Really love the truck. Never owned a stock truck with this kind of response and power. Am shocked at Nissan for not alerting owners of the brake problems and supplying info as to when the permanent fix will be available. 24000 miles and ready for my 4th set of brakes. Is getting old. I also agree. Too much plastic!

Review:
2004 Titan LE- Excellent truck. A few small problems (expected with a new model). Can out perform Dodge, Ford, and Chevrolet. Entered in a truck pull in VA. Sledd wt.38k-went 298.6 1st place in stock. Get the brakes fixed and its unbeatable. Also pull a 24ft Dutchman camper with no problem.

Pros:
Strong engine, smooth ride, nice growl to exhaust
Cons:
BRAKES, gas mileage
Review:
Overall this is a great truck. The BRAKE system design errors are just inexcusable. My old chevy had 105K miles when I had it's first brake job. My Titan has only 15K miles and it has already had two brake jobs and now needs a third. I was wrong and my wife was right - "never buy the first year model". Thanks dear.
