Pros:
engine power, ride, interior room, looks, engine |
Cons:
brakes until fixed, to many small issues, paint, captains chair
uncomfortable, dash quality, finding cheaper tires, tailgate plastic cover |
Review:
Great engine great ride but to many bugs. Finally got the brakes fixed
right after 6 times to dealer i have some of the little nuisance problems
listed on service bulletins. Paint seems crappy i had a ford Countour before
this and after 5 years the car paint still looked new this truck looks like
20 years old already. Tailgate cover is crap had the bed sprayed with
aftermarket linex liner a lot better than Nissan's crap. Dash is cheap
plastic over all the funny thing is the truck is reliable just to many
little things. |

Pros:
Powerplant, Drivetrain, towing, 4x4 capability |
Cons:
Wide open rear doors, lot of plastic, small nit picks due to first year
model |
Review:
I'll start with my issues. Firstly, the 4lo light occasionally flashes
in 2wd, no idea why and neither does the dealer. This in no way affects the
performance of the truck, which is outstanding with a K&N intake. The body
style perturbed me at first but it has grown on me. Have had problems with
the driver side rear suicide door not opening, had a part replaced under
warranty to fix. Haven't had the brake problems that other owners have had,
20k miles and no drivetrain problems. Follow the break-in cycle folks and
you won't destroy your axles! Tows great, excellent performer off-road,
smooth trannie. Small back seat but then I need the bed space more. Overall,
easily the best 1/2 ton truck out there. |
