Pros:
Great on the highway. Lots of Power. Very roomy inside. Extremely versitile.
|
|
Cons:
Milage is poor. Brakes are always being replaced(3 time in 110,000 kms). Rotors are always being replaced twice in 110,000 kms).
Front end doesnt stand up to rough roads. Tie rods replaced. stabilizers replaced. Vehicle rattles. Can't open back windows on rough
roads windows vibrate too much. Tire pressure sending units need replacing always failing. Automatic door often won't close on first
attempt. This vehicle has too many small issues that need attention. Won't buy another for that reason. Service people have been great.

Pros:
Styling, engine power, smooth quite ride, space, MPG good for such a
large vehicle. |
Cons:
Light color carpet, paint scratches easily, headlights fogging over |
Review:
We bought this 2004 SE new and loved it from day one. We did have the
engine rebuilt at 40k miles due to engine knock (bad camshaft bearings,
under warranty). We did have the lift gate fixed because a bolt had come
loose. We have had the armrest bolts tightened regularly. Now after 65k
miles, the headlight lenses are fogging over. The red paint shows scratches
easily. We get about 29MPG on highway and Avg 20MPG around town, which is
as good as my Subaru Legacy. We still love this van and will probably buy
another. The 2009 don't have the same amount of technology as the Honda,
so, we'll continue to wait, 2010? |

Cons:
Tires suck now on 3rd set at just 60K. |

04 Quest. Love the look, the space, the
options, even the gas milage. I have hated the rotars, brakes, tires,
leaking sun roof, failing GPS system, CD player now on #3, DVD player now
on #2.I have had it in shop for over 16 repairs or service
recalls in just 3 years. |
I bought it yesterday!!!

Doesn't start. I've only owned it for a few hours.
Drivers seat doesn't go back very far, but, it goes forward to about 4" from
the dash (not kidding. |

I bought a beautiful used 2004 Quest YESTERDAY and drove my family to a
restaurant for dinner. Came out from the restaurant and spent 15 minutes
trying to start it. It kept turning over and over but wouldn't start.
Finally after 15 minutes, we got lucky and it started. Drove it home,
parked, turned it off... it hasn't started again. It's back at the dealer
and after seeing this website I am now braced for pain. Luckily, it already
has 30,000 miles on it and I've got an extended warranty until 89,000 or
2012 -- looks like I'll need it. |

Review:
My van has had a lot of little problems that are similar to other
reviewers. Bad TCM, intermittent radio, periodic hard/ no cold start, quick
to warp front rotors, odd rattles. Most have been fixed under warrenty, but
that is almost up. I'm not sure it is worth hanging onto past the warrenty
if the past problems are parr for the course! |
