I bought this truck new in 2006. Since day one this truck has rattles, squeeks, vibrations and is uncomfortable to drive. the
dealership has not fixed any of the problems that i have reported over the years. The fuel sending unit has been replaced twice and
the serpentine belt and tensioner have been replaced twice. The truck has a stiff suspention and goes over bumps on the high way
very harshly. the engine is strong but makes a lot of valve noise.

I love this truck awesome power and ride and looks but all the noise's in the rear when I hit bumps or dips. witch my local dealer
says this fix (I hope so). The brakes r even noisy when i hit them and I had them checked and there 80% good. And now my U-joint on
my drive shaft is about to pop off and super load and all. again the dealer is going to fix it. thank god I don't want to walk
home. once that's fixed I'm sure it will be a super super truck and totally love it...

Lug bolt pattern of 6 on 4.5 is crappy, as there is a very limited supply of aftermarket wheels for for my NISMO truck,
unless you want ghetto fab 22' wheels

Review:
Bought the frontier cause dealers would negotiate while Tacoma dealers
would not. Has strong accel and tight steering. Looks good, bed a little
too small, mileage disappointing. Couple small issues (squeaks and
rattles), that seem to be common.

Many small problems making the truck feel cheap and hurting my feelings about ownership. My truck has a wide range of
issues (all small but bothersome)

If my truck was trouble free I would be completely happy
with it, power, looks, function, etc,... Unfortunately this 2005 Frontier
Nismo has 90% of the problems listed in the technical service bulletins.
Squeaks and rattles, engine noises, interior issues, the brakes,
specifically the rotors are poor (all 4 rotors are pitting badly). I feel I
should have waited till Nissan worked out a lot of the bugs before buying
the redesigned Frontier.
