Pros:
POWER, POWER, POWER. Lots of room and comfort.
Cons:
Stereo sucks. Had it replaced first thing. Accessories hard to get and expensive.
Review:
This is a real sport utility vehicle. I drove everything from high-end luxury SUVs to all the minis. You won't get anything better for your buck.

Pros:
Great power, good handling, and one kick ass look.
Cons:
The speed senstive volume on the radio takes a little getting used to. The disappointing lack of luxury upgrades.
Review:
I've only had the Xterra for a week, but what a great SUV. Lots of Power. I test drove the V6 and Standard V8 Jeep Grand Cherokee and this had much more power than both of them, it also had a better look and feel than the Toyota 4Runner. The only thing disappointing was its lack of certain accessories such as a GPS System, leather, power seats and so on, but I know all that stuff would raise the overall price of the car, so O'well.

Pros:
4 liter engine
Cons:
too much plastic used inside.
Review:
great vehicle with lots of power for it's class. rides good on the highway but I still have to take it off-road to see how it handles. build quality is great and the rockford fosgate system is awesome. I was looking to buy the hummer h3 but found it to be underpowered and it looked like the old jeep Cherokee on steroids. the x-terra can handle the same terrain for less cash and it looks better.

Pros:
The power, baby!
Cons:
Rear door openings are hard to get into.
Review:
We are not really "truck" people, but my wife wanted a mid-size sport utility with a stick shift, and the Xterra is the only thing on the market that fit the bill. We got the 2WD S, 6-speed, in Red Brawn Pearl, and my wife absolutely loves it. Makes about 22 mpg in mixed city/highway.
This thing really moves - you're always going a lot faster than you think you are. Very well designed, everything well laid out, very functional.

Pros:
Power
Cons:
Loose, Noisy front end. Bad feelings about dealership.
Review:
I have had my Xterra back twice for front end problems. It darts and pulls to right but dealership found nothing wrong. Dropped tire pressure from 35psi to 30 psi and helped out greatly. Presently have 7,000 mi and now have developed an annoying squeak in the front end. Not pleased with treatment from dealership and not pleased with Xterra's front end. Possible Lemon????
