Review:
I can confidently say that I was tricked by the exterior looks of this car. The Navigation helps a lot and that's about it. I thought Nissan was quite sophisticated with electronics but I was disappointed. CD player funtions good till I move the car and then begins to skip profusely. The front suspension and shock absorbers were not as effective after I drove the car for only 3weeks. I don't know what's up with Nissan service centers. On one of my service visits, they claimed to have topped off all fluids but I still had an almost empty windshield wash fluid and power steering fluid. Brakes have an unusually long delay and acceleration is not at all continuous. Generally the car doesn't perform as one would expect it from the

Pros:
Pickup is great! Looks Gorgeous inside and out! Engine is sound and really puts out!
Cons:
Hard vehicle to upgrade with after market parts.  TRANSMISSION GET REAL BAD between 60-75K.  TIRES ARE RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE TO REPLACE!
Review:
The 05' Maxima is a stunning car to see driving down the road. Aggressive yet elegant, comfortable yet sporty. However I joined this forum because of problems I am having with the transmission, in hopes to find a cure. Rough shifting between first and second gear. From what I hear it's a very common problem with these cars. I LOVE THE CAR... I just want it to run the way it was designed to run!

Pros:
Engine, Stereo, style.
Cons:
Turning ratio....Not very good.
Review:
Great car getting about 22.5 in city and 28.0 on the hwy. The car RECOMMENDS premium fuel but it is not REQUIRED!! Put 93 octane and 87 octane I don't see any difference!! Gas mileage is the same and the engine runs great on either octane!!

The car is a smooth operation and very fast.

Pros:
style, luxury, BOSE.....
Cons:
shimmy in wheel, too many button on the console...worst of all is Nissan service.
Review:
I enjoy my maxima, but the Nissan service sucks! They were hard to deal with and very difficult under the certified to deal with! (Riverside Nissan~Tulsa). The car is GREAT but the shimmy in the wheel and all the buttons on the console, and the payments are high!

Pros:
Powerful engine, roomy interior, stylish
Cons:
Unreliable parts, ECU/TCM need better programming, cabin noise, rattles. A feel of rapidly deteriorating car. Crappy Goodyear tire-somebody is going to get killed with all those cracks. Had them raplaced at 18k.
Review:
Got rid of Toyota because I wanted a powerfull V6, latest side air bag technology, leather, CD changer, etc with some style. Been dissapointed by the many recalls and the non ending TSB's. So many poor quality parts is unbelievable. Serious stuff like EGR, O2 sensors, electrical, engine noise, rapidly increase squeeks, bad tires, bad shocks, engine mounts going bad, computer going on the fritz once in a while, etc, etc. Dealer has replaced some but could not found anything wrong for many. RSA Goodyear are junk. Cracks around the sidewalls.
