Pros:
Lots of extras on this model. Reverse sensor is great. Drives smoothly. Looks better than most other minivans from the oustide,
more 'hip' than the others.
|
|
Cons:
The sliding doors seem to be a bit noisy. Not sure if the power sliding door operates like it should.

Review:
I just purchased a used Quest and so far it's my favorite car I've owned. I'm not happy with the dealer I bought it from. The oil
and transmission fluid was in very bad shape. It also needs the O2 sensor and Air Fuel sensor replaced. But overall, the car works well
for our family of 5. I think it has put a cease to the fighting in the back seat. This is the 5th Nissan i've owned.

Poor gas mileage, brakes need to be replaced at 18,000
miles, cheap interior, not reliable.

Review:
Van is always in the shop. Gas mileage is terrible
12/17.Replaced rear door motor, A/C compressor, rear window motors, front
rotors, catalytic brackets, had electrical short with all lights, A/C smells
moldy and all this with only 30,000 miles. It is the worst vehicle I've ever
owned. I will never buy another Nissan.

ok, I have a 05 Quest, I have had it for one year and I have had one
thing break after the other. First of all both side doors stick and the
rubber around them keeps coming off, the air vents up front broke, the
breaks both front and back had to be replaced at 19, 000 miles
(unacceptable). The gas mileage is not good, and definately not as
advertised, etc, etc etc. It just does not live up to Nissan expectations

I bought my 2005 Nissan Quest SE five months ago with 7,000 miles on it
for $26K...I couldn't be happier! I reserched different minivans and decided
on the Quest, color in Autume red (I say burnt orange) with Rouge leather (I
say burnt orange :) 5 panel sky roof to the awesome sound system.
Performance is outstanding and everyone that rides in it or see's it loves
the style and great interior...as one of my friends put it, "They thought of
everything!" Love the power everything! one con...wish the
gas mileage was a bit better.

Review:
We purchased a new 2005 Quest through the Sam's
Club program. Great price. Lowest vs. Sienna and Odyssey at the time.
We have had some issues:
1. Sliding door rattles - repaired.
2. Catalytic Converter rattles - repaired.
3. Electric window malfunction - repaired.
4. Fuses in auxilliary power outlets - ongoing.
5. Lazy shifting in 4 speed auto trans - normal(?)
6. AC is a bit weak. Better on max. However, we live in central FL, so I
will give them a break. My Suburban will freeze you out even on low.
I enjoy the 3.5 V6. However, the actual gas mileage is unacceptable. It
was advertised as 19/27. We get about 15/21 with a tail wind. With gas at
$3.00 per gallon, this is a major discrepancy. I am not mad enough to move
to action, but I probably could be talked into it. This is deception at
best.
The roof rack on the basic models is worthless. Just two bars - one on
the left and one on the right. No cross bars. More importantly - nothing on
top of the roof to protect your paint. Nissan does not offer cross bars as a
part.
We keep cars ten years and put over 200K on them. We gave our Previa away
with over 200K on it. Wonderful van - no problems at all. So far, I have no
real reason to doubt the Quest will not make it.
Bottom line - I love the bold design. Hats off to Nissan for pushing the
envelope even in the minivan market.
