Pros:
Value, style, power. Stands apart from all
the other in the parking lot. |
Cons:
Front seats: too much lumbar |
Review:
Though we've only had it a couple of
weeks, I find myself wishing it was mine instead of the wife's! Front seats
could use some refinement. Other than that, it seems to be a great value
when you consider how many extras you get for your money compared with the
other vans. Style: no comparison. Ours was a Nissan CPO, so we get the
extended Power Train warranty, I also bought the Security+ to extend
coverage on all those electronics. I'll add further reviews once we've had
it a while longer. Thus far we're quite pleased. |

Pros:
Lots of room for people, pets and cargo,
great looking great performance and reliability. Good gas mileage around
town and on the highway (between 20 and 25mpg). Handles a lot like my 2000
Nissan Maxima I had. (Great handling) Lots of extras with out the big price
tag. |
Cons:
Need more room for the front two seats.
(Driver & front passenger.) It is not made for people who are over 6 feet
tall. Need to find the reason for the noses coming form the sliding doors
when going down the road. (Dealer can't figure it out.) Sounds like pops or
clunks. |
Review:
Great all the way around. My family and I
love everything about it. We got our 2007 Nissan Quest SL in early February
of 2007. (It is now late December of 2007) |

Pros:
Ride, fit and finish, interior space, ease of rear bench stowing, car
like drive, comfort, decent gas mileage for it's class, largest interior
volume in it's class, wide opening sliding doors (widest in this class),
3.5L engine |
Cons:
Blindspot, foot peddles too close, rear bench uncomfortable, rear bench
does not have 60/40 split, 2nd row seats fold flat but don't stow |
Review:
Right off the bat, let me say this: I'm very glad I got the 07 over the
06!!!
So far, I'm very impressed.
If you recall, the 04 to 06 models were dogged by mechanical issues
(specifically the 04 brakes). Also, they were "dissed" for it's hideous
"innards". If you ask owners, I'm sure Some would also talk about power
sliding door issues, rear power hatch etc..
Another problem with Nissan has been the Fit And Finnish. Tons of
consumers disliked the cheapnessISH feeling of the interior (whether it be
the previous Q or something else)... from simple things like the knobs - to
you name it. Rattles were always an issue too.
Personally, if there was even a "whooooooosh" sound, whether inside or
out, I'd notice it! All this could make a potential buyer somewhat
apprehensive (am I right?)!
So. now that I have the 07, let me say this: NISSAN FINALLY GOT IT RIGHT!
This is one impressive van. It's great to see that Nissan's kept the "wonderful" aspects of the
previous model and totally inialated the negative qualities. This
achievement could be a turning point for Nissan.
Lets hope (fingers crossed) that the 2007 Quest makes a mark with dubious
consumers.
Now Nissan needs to promote it with the ingenuity it deserves. I for one,
will be doing my best ... <wink>!
Justice has finally been served! |
