Pros:
Best Value in class. Styling, interior space, well laid
out dash panel; smooth transmission. |
Cons:
Front end noise on first drive in the morning. Believe
it is from the ABS brakes but not confirmed. This noise is a common problem
based on feedback from other drivers. |
Review:
Started out to buy my wife a new car thinking the usual
Toyota or Honda high mileage cars. Took her to see and try them all. Ended
up buying the 2008 Sentra. In our opinion, it is the best price and best
value in it's class. The now standard CVT transmission took some adjustment
since it has no traditional gears. Missed that "torque" feel on gear changes
but adjusted to the smooth seamless power increase pretty quickly. Only had
the car for about a month now but so far she loves it. Only quirk I've
noticed is a left front end noise that occurs only when first starting to
drive the car then disappears for the rest of the day. Best info I have been
able to gather is that is the ABS self-check making the sound. All in all, a
very nice comfortable and unusually spacious car for the best price in it's
class. |

Roomy, excellent MPG 28/37, feature rich. Smooth ride with the CVT,
great looking alloy wheels. Bluetooth big + |
Cons:
only 1 12 volt outlet. easy fix with a 2 way converter. |
Review:
Bought this car for my wife to drive 20 miles to and from work. She
absolutly loves this car its loaded with everything except leather seats to
hot where we live. Its roomy and handles like a top notch sports car. I love
the way it handles only problem I may never get to drive it. LOL |
