Pros:
Fuel Economy, CVT, Radio, Leather Seats, Storage |
Cons:
Doors do not lock themselves (Think they fixed this on the 09), Gas
filler location on the right, should be on the left, No In-Dash Navigation
system, No Seat Memory. |
Review:
Great Car! Ours gets 30.2 on the highway. CVT is a great system, just
takes some getting used to . Has more than enough power for getting on the
freeways. |

Pros:
First impression was good. Now for the real test when I pick it up on
Wednesday. |
Cons:
Not cons as of yet, but concerns about the mirror compass and the key
system. |
Review:
I will pick up our new Rogue next Wednesday, but have two concerns. I
have the SL with the premium package. It has no compass in the mirror.
Couldn't get it without the leather package. Seems stupid. Second concern
is the intelligent key system. I already have a concern the method of entry
and starting. I also like to hide a key, now I can't. Bothers me. |

Pros:
Plus Mileage, plus comfort and ride feel, plus looks and curb appeal,
plus fit and finish, plus great value for the money. Fits four adults
comfortable. Road noise is pretty good for a vehicle that is cavernous
inside. Plus all seats, except driver, fold down for cargo |
Cons:
Cheapo interior (improves with aftermarket add ons like a dash kit. Bose
radio system does NOT live up to the nametag..but comes with a package you
DO want. Needs a dash 12v access for GPS/rearview camera etc. for neatness.
Needs a 12v access for overhead add ons. Dash "computer" is tiny and
congested (rather see it share 50/50 with the Tachometer space. Road tire
noise with passenger window down is a definite howl..suggest a better rated
tire. AC/heater blower needs a higher volume of air movement with less
airflow noise.Convenience options are not
recommended from Nissan as they are very overpriced and available
aftermarket. |
Review:
I have a '08 Rogue in Iridium Graphite..all options of import except
leather. I added a aftermarket Gentex mirror with compass, dim and Homelink.
I added a aftermarket trailer hitch.I am very
pleased overall.. Mileage and fit and finish is great. It is very
comfortable for my 6'1" frame. Ez to maneuver and park with a nice road ride
characteristics in traffic. It is built to give the best value for the buck
and some cheapo shortcuts are evident, but, that is to be expected. I have
driven with rear passengers and they also note a comfortable ride.
Mileage is currently 27/31 actual calculated which
is WAY above EPA estimates and I will not knock this good thing.. I can haul
long and bulky items with a lot of safe tiedowns too. |

Pros:
As far as the car goes, at first I really enjoyed driving it. It is not
too bad on gas, but now I am afraid for safety reasons to be in the car and
I do not want to put the baby seat in that car again. |
Cons:
I think Toyota makes the best car and I should have gotten another
Toyota. I drive them till the wheels fall off. All you do is change the
oil, put in gas, and new tires every 4-5 years. It was great. I must have
had a senior moment!!! |
Review:
I bought my first Nissan Nov. 2007 and I simply loved it. It was fun to
drive and everything. Then one day for no apparent reason the back side
glass shattered into a million pieces. The dealership said that it had
nothing to do with their workmanship and the warranty would not cover that
type of problem. I could have been cut badly and so could my grandson.
Luckily, we were not in the car. It sent glass all over the backseat. I
had just parked my car and gone into the house. I will never own another
Nissan. Toyotas are still the best!!! |

Pros:
Style, size, utility for two empty-nesters. |
Cons:
would like an RDX-like turbo for much less money. |
Review:
I just came back from the UK and lusted after all the small and micro
cars that I saw on the road. I remember seeing one particularly good looking
small SUV, the Qashqai, and thought that it would be great for American
roads. Just found out it will be imported here as the Rogue. I will
certainly be checking it out! |
