I bought this car used in March 07 and have spent $12,000 on it since, not counting tires and regular maintenance. Worst car I
have ever owned! Rack and Pinion, O2 sensors, brake module, A/F sensors, transmission sensor, body perforation, surface rust,
bearings, engine vibration; all of these things happened to me. Dealer refuses to help - Hunt Club Nissan in Ottawa - and Nissan
Canada said "So sad, too Bad." All of this started to happen within six months of buying the car.
DON'T BUY A NISSAN!

I bought 04 maxima with 11000 k on it, had to change altenator, driver seat has 4 position movments and only three are workin, tires
are bad if you have goo year, but buy hy performance and rotate and balance them every 10 000 km and you will be fine, if you have
cracling noise from the front of the car it is one of the catalitic converters. Who has problems with tires swich rims to 17 inch
insted of 18 and 45 profile with 55 or 60 will be more smoth and even better in snow.Does enyone have problem with a driver seat.

Review:
all plastics scratch too easy. ac system leaked after 3 years. a rattle noise under engine was unfound at dealer. cheap plastic rivets
all over car are holding on cheap plastic parts are not holding cheap plastic parts anymore. felt inner fender wells in rear hold foxtails
weeds and any kind of cockleburr or burr like velcro. plastic trim inside door post does'nt fit from heat distortion. tires were
recalled for sidewall cracking on the inside sidewalls only, but
doesn't seem to be coming up on any of the recall notices i'm finding
online. Now my wheels are leaking around the bead of the wheels because the aluminum is corroding, no recall on this found yet either.
Overall fun to drive but am now afraid to because it is
literally falling apart, what a piece of overpriced p.o.s.

I was surfing the net for a answer to my
problem of a ticking noise from my 2004 Max engine. I recall something about
to use a Nissan oil filter on my next oil change, wow !!! I did purchase a
$6.95 Nissan oil filter and,, NO MORE TICKING !!!! I just wanted to pass my
results on to you. Hope this help you as it did me.
