1. Open the back door (hatchback). • Have someone support the back door during the removal procedure. 2. Unsnap the eight (8) clips of the back door finisher lower (finisher) by pulling down on the top end Caution: Be careful not to pull down too far on the finisher. Pulling down too far may cause damage to the pawls. Note: See last figure for clips and pawls location. Note: If needed, use a suitable trim removal tool when starting to pull down on the finishe. 3. While holding the finisher, pound with moderate force on the bottom of the finisher with your fist where noted in Figure 3. Unhook the finisher pawls, and then remove the finisher. • See Figure for pawls location |
