2000-2004 Nissan Xterra Radio Replacement Procedure

Cautions:

Disconnect both terminals from battery in advance.

Be careful not to scratch finishers and other parts.

Instructions

  Remove shifter bezel. Pull bezel out or insert a flat screw driver between the bezel and center console to pry out the bezel.
•

  Remove the radio and A/C control cover screws. There are four (4) Phillips screws, two at the bottom and two just above the radio.
•

  Pull out the radio cover and disconnect power outlet connector and hazards light switch connector.
• 
• 4
  Once the cover is removed from the dash, locate and remove the four (4) Phillips screws that secures the radio metal bracket to the dash.
• 
• 5
  Disconnect the radio connectors, antenna and remove radio
• 
• 6
  Install in reverse order.
