Review:
I love my 01 frontier it works great even after a wreck. It still runs
like new. My girlfriend thinks its a good truck. I've installed all kinds of
parts into it & it makes it look better & perform better. It has like 95,000
miles on it. But up until now it still drives good & i love it.

Pros:
Style/body.

Cons:
Pick-up/power - very low. uses oil.

Review:
I had an 88 Nissan Pickup that was great. Bought this 01 Frontier used.
Have had belt problems from day one. Had them all replaced and still they
squeal (could be mechanic?) Worst problem is NO pick-up/power. UGH. My '88
would go...this '01 doesn't do anything even if I press gas all the way to
floor. I've had other minor problems that have gotten on my nerves...don't
know if it's the Frontier, or the fact it's used.

Pros:
Great styling at very good off-road capability
|
Cons:
The gas in the tank vanishes into this air
|
Review:
The truck has great styling, and it still holds its own even when parked
next to 2007's. It also performs well off-road and is pretty comfy (maybe
because mine is loaded with the Power and Deluxe Package). The only thing
Nissan could have done better as far as comfort goes is thicker seat
cushions.
By only thing that bothers be about this truck is I
do not know where the gas in the tank goes. The truck has a 170HP V6, but it
guzzles at 16 miles per gallon of premium unleaded gas! I have a 2006 Altima
2.5S with a 175HP I4, and it goes 26mpg! It's obvious that only a portion of
the gas in the tank on my '01 Frontier gets transformed into power, so again
I ask "Where Does The Gas Go?!"

Review:
I love that my '01 Frontier 4x4 SEV6 still
holds its own in the "looks" department even when parked next to 07 models.
It's pretty comfy since it's loaded with the Power and Deluxe package, but
the seat cushion are still too thin for 1,500 mile trips, which I have taken
on it. I also take it up the snowy slopes during winter, and it knows how to
claw its way out of deep snow. My only problem with it is that it only does
(city/hwy) 16/18 mpg! I cannot understand how a 170 hp motor can guzzle that
much gas. I wonder where the rest of the premium gasoline goes to, since
obviously, only a portion of it gets converted to power.

Too slow for as much fuel it consumes

Pros:
Looks great. Even strangers feel the need to complement it.
|
Cons:
-Slug and it's a fuel pig.
-Steering wheel is mounted too far to the left.
-Pickup box is lopsided but so are all the others on the car lot.
-Things start breaking/falling off all over the vehicle after 5 years.

Review:
This truck is my beater that I use for hauling and doing things my
Navigator cannot. It looks great and I like it alot. One major complaint is
that the engine is too small for the vehicle--it's a slug and gets 15 mpg.
The steering wheel is about one inch to the left of center when sitting in
the driving position (probably the seats were not designed for this model).
