Pros:

Engine strong and good so far. Understand it is a Chevy engine. Notice it is close to 348 c.i.--like the 1961 Chevies had!

Cons:

See above review. Build quality stinks. Not worth the price. Inherent dangerous defects in vehicle.

Review:

Very poor build quality, problem after problem.
A/C lines over rear axle are absurd and break --Nissan doesn't cover it when they do.
Axle pulled spline out of case...at least they covered that.
Wheel bearings, front are poor qualify. I have changed three sets already by 102,000. miles.
Brakes are terrible. Nissan gave "extended warranty" on brakes and rotors which they don't honor in my case. I have had to replace front pads and rotors five times already.
Dangerous brake failure...twice already. See the posts on the Club Armada website which I and many others have posted. Nissan dealers act like they never heard of this. In fact, there are now service bulletins about it, but Nissan should reprogram the computers for free, which they don't.
Write your Highway Safety Administration about this folks, before you get severely injured from spontaneous brake and ABS failure which is computer related.
The vent valve on the emissions cannister went bad very early. You couldn't fill up the car with gas.
Nissan wouldn't pay for this inherent defect. Cost me over $300. and I was really annoyed.

This vehicle convinced me to never again buy a Nissan product.

I Love it!

I bought our Armada in the fall of '04 and all I could say was wow. It has had some minor problems here and there but overall the best SUV out there period!

Pros:

LOOKS GOOD

Cons:

SQUEAKS, RATTLES, FREQUENT BRAKE CHANGES, PLASTIC SURFACES DULL IN 40,000 MILES, TIRES WEAR QUICKLY, RIDES ROUGH FOR A $40,000 CAR

Review:

Bought 04-Armada brand new. 1st thing engine light on 2nd day. they kept car for two weeks. fixed problems. rattles and rides rough. new brakes every 20000 miles, yikes.

big problem: at 89,000 mi fuel pump goes out and frys the catalytic converter. costs me $4,000.00 and RAY BRANDT NISSAN says this is a frequent problem. i called NISSAN to see if they can re-imburse or help. they turned me down.

they are having to replace motors and convertors in ARMADAs.

BUYERS OF ARMADAS BEWARE, SINCE NISSAN WILL NOT STAND BEHIND PROBLEMS THEY KNOW ARE OCCURRING

Pros:

Roomy interior.

Cons:

Poor quality vehicle (almost everything needed to be fixed and/or replaced), lousy cargo storage, very very poor customer service.

Review:

Nothing but quality problems with our 2004 Nissan Armada. Nissan customer service just as bad. Last time I will buy a Nissan product. Don't make the same mistake I made and buy one of these vehicles.

Very Powerful, has lot's of room. More than Chevy or Dodge

Pros:

Power, room, Entertainment package, towing package leather and elegints

Cons:

Might want to check reviews on vehicles before you buy so you can get in service department and get checked and upgraded if possible

Review:

This SUV that I just bought had a little issues with the coolent drain from a/c unit under the dash, took in and the dealership took care of it. I have enjoyed it so far and my wife in which I bought it for will not let me drive it that much. I do have reserve on the commits on previous entries but this was the first big SUV for nissan and even the 2004-2008 chevy and Dodges, you should read some of there problems. This SUV is far better than any SUV outthere, except the Infinity Q56, but that is way out of my price range.
