Review:
I was out looking for another Expedition when we test drove an Armada. We then drove a Tahoe, a Sequoia, and a Durango. None came
close to the handling of the Armada so we bought a 2005 LE in Feb 07, with 28K miles. We now have 112K miles and it still drives
great! Had to replace the radiator, transmission cooling hoses, and the front shocks (Nissan replaced the exhaust manifolds at 96K
miles under my extended warranty) and beyond that we've had no problems with it. We constistantly get 15-16 mpg depending upon having
our snow tires on it or not. We play alot in the high country and this truck goes off road better than any truck I've owned (Toyota,
Dodge 2500, Ford F-250). Time and again our friends comment on the ride and comfort of this truck. I would prefer to see a few more
inches behind the third row seat at times, but I guess thats why the second row is so spacious....
It does not tow as well as my 3/4 ton diesel's but it does the job just fine when I need it to. The finish is still looking good as
well, inside and out! We love this truck!!!

Pros:

Cons:
...it would be nice to have an automatic door locking/unlocking feature (when the suv is put in gear like GM) and maybe,
add a little 'more-premium' stereo than the '05 Bose unit already offers

Review:
Its big, bold, safely contains your loved ones, stable, and stronger than youd think with its pulling/stopping power on
the road. It definetly portrays a 'prescence' off and on the highway at speeds, theres power everywhere, even 80+ mph.
If theres anything you ever wanted to do to your ARMADA to increase her performance and responsiveness, pay the $41 bucks
and get yourself a K&N air filter--OH MAN...DOES SHE LIKE TO BREATHE!!!--no joking!!

Pros:
Very sturdy hauling around my son's basketball team. Cleans up nicely after bouncing around in the dirt and
mud. Good Dad's truck. Rear console good beverage cooler
|
Cons:
Fuel consumption is good, could be better since Dodge gets better mileage with it's hemi 5.7 liter engine.
Wish my model had bluetooth and XM radio.

Review:
I was scared of the Armada because of some of the reviews I read about
the 2004 model. I guess the Japanese got a good lessons learned about plant
design. Because the tooling of a Japanese plant has to be different if the
car will be assembled in Mississippi where we have some of the biggest
people in the country. That being said I have had good luck with my 2005
Armada LE so I must have the 2nd generation SUV. I have almost 130,000 miles
and only changed the oil and rotate the tires.

Review:
Vehicle needs much more than 36K warranty. STAY AWAY! Aside from other
issues: it is known that there is inherent problem with fuel guage sending
unit in these vehicles. (I did not know until I had mine towed across town
and was told it ran out of gas even though fuel guage read half full)
Nissan Customer Service refuses to fix and has not issued alert or recall to
customers because they feel it is not a big threat to safety! (Even after
my wife & kids were stranded on road) Nissan tech at dealership knew right
away what was wrong and told me that "sending unit on these trucks are
inherently bad" At exactly 36K miles......look out. NO MORE NISSANS FOR
ME.

Pros:
Lots of power, comfortable, vehicle dynamic control is awesome.
|
Cons:
Poor fuel economy, ongoing small mechanical problems, bad oe tires,
contitracs are one of the worst, price, rides rough over bumps, steering
wheel shakes bad over bumps. I could go on.

Review:
We bought our armada in august of 05,we use it for towing our 26 ft
travel trailer, it tows it well but in tow mode the transmission will down
shift and vehicle will run at 4000 rpm for miles and averages 5.8 mpg.
horrible for long road trips. overall we have had our share of problems,
exhaust leak, interior scratches, brakes, air bag light coming on,
transmission cooler hose leaks and some other misc. items. My wife loves it
still and i'm the one that gets to deal with the dealer which has been no
help either. Otherwise its a nice ride but overpriced.
