Pros:

Best "Bang for the Buck" in standard features
Safety features, side curtain aibags, ABLS, VDC...etc
Cavernous Interior, three rows of seating
5.6 Liter V8 Power
Did I mention the V8 power? 305 hp?

Cons:

Thirsty V8, but hey I knew that buying it or else I would have bought a Toyota Prius.
I don't get to drive it as much as I want to because of work.

Review:

I bought my SE Off Road Armada in Dec 05. I normally do not endorse a product but I was so impressed with this vehicle I was compelled to write a review. I am a service member stationed in Alaska and had always bought American made vehicles (sorry Ford). I did my homework researching and inquired about qoutes over the internet. I considered the Chevy Tahoe, Ford Expedition and Explorer but in the end the Armada won. Great styling, powerful V8 with a 9,000 lb towing capacity, more standard features than you can shake a stick at that you would otherwise have to shell some duckets to get in other SUVs. I use to own an F-250 with all the moving that we have to do with 20 plus years in the Corps. I wanted an SUV that could do it all; great looks, power to tow/haul stuff, fit family when they come to visit (hence three rows of seating), cruising rig and act as weekend warrior when I do light duty wheelin'. Yeah, yeah, yeah I read all the TSBs, brake problems, rattles and squeaks. Get over it people! Nothing is perfect, thats why they have warranties and extended warranties. Yeah my drivers side door froze but I knew about the TSB and the warranty covered it. You just can't please everyone, but I'm happy with it. I think this will be a keeper until something better comes along. Thanks Nissan.

Pros:

new, roomy, powerful

Cons:

cheep inside materials, not good at all for offroad.

Review:

I used Land cruiser since 10 years in different models and liked to change to Armada LE 2005; hoping better but it was not! It is not a car you can depend on and it is not cheep. Low quality materials, bad suspension, delicate dashboard, it is only good as a VAN!I traded it back by a 2003 Land cruiser.

Pros:

Power, speed, comfort, towing, looks

Cons:

Stock tires, prerecall brakes, soft interior plastics scratch easily

Review:

Looked at every full size SUV. Mada was best bang for buck. Could use: better mileage, more room for bigger tires, fender flares, and aftermarket support. I have replaced stock rims and tires with 20" rims and 305-55-20 all terrain tires. Handles better, rides softer and quieter.

05 ARMADA IS BEST 2ND GENERATION

Pros:

The SE 4X4 is built on the best all around performance platform and profiled for real functional utilitarian, off road sport and luxury conveniences.

Cons:

It's amazing how a large vehicle as the Armada can perform as well as smaller SUV competitors if not better yet have all the high end conveniences. The SE 4X4 being the most practical without some of the frill options. Best gas mileage is without use of the AC and Highway driving.

Review:

I have been reviewing stats on the Armada since the first 04 generation for a purchase. I can clearly verify that the 05 Armada 2nd generation is greatly improved vehicle. I am more than pleased with every facet of the vehicle. I noted excellent for appearance thru satisfaction. The vehicle is definitely different, upscale and in a larger sense, very practical for real SUV world.

Pros:

Looks great. Nice performance and towing ability.

Cons:

None yet

Review:

Nice truck. Put 24" rims on it so the ride is a bit stiff but looks great. Like the powerful engine/acceleration. Like the DVD player for the kids and the NAV works great. For this price there is nothing else I would rather have bought. Time will tell regarding quality, only have 3000 miles so far.
