Cons:
Problems with a/c, brakes, seat belts, and interior, which Nissan cannot seem to fix.
|
Review:
I have only had problems with Nissan and its service department. First,
the a/c has never worked on long trips. After multiple visits, Nissan cannot
fix, even though others have same problems. The a/c also leaks on the
passenger side. Next, front brakes have been replaced three times, but
steering still vibrates on hard braking application. Then, middle seat belt
didn't retract. When Nissan replaced it, they installed the wrong belt so it
wouldn't lock, requiring another service visit. And, FM radio reception is
very poor. Finally, interior plastic loses its color surface extremely
quickly, causing unsightly areas

Pros:
Great Texas Titan package, nearly everything the LE model has without
the Leather. It gets hot in El Paso. Just simply exceeds standards,
especially in resale.
|
Cons:
Nissan should add atleast one inch more to the front in Height of the 4x4s

Review:
Simply a fantastic Truck. I done a few NISMO Mods to it, Dual (True
Dual) Exhaust, Volant cold air intake, leveling kit. I got everything I owed
on my 04 plus a $675.00 check. The truck held its value superbly. I was that
much in the black. It had the same mods. The Texas Titan is what a truck
should be Shine w/chrome and tested/proven 4-wheel drive. Nice Job Nissan.

Pros:
Decent power. Has felt like it has lost power since I first purchased
it. I have tried several brand name fuels. No change. Looks different.
Everybody looks at me when I drive by-I like that. Lots of room in the Crew
Cab. Nice, smooth ride. Fosgate stereo sounds good. Good customer follow-up
first 4 months of ownership. I gave Nissan one bad response to my radiator
and dash rattle, and NO FOLLOW-UP. I guess they only want to hear the
positive stuff. The Wife likes OUR truck.

Cons:
Rattles, A/C leaks under carpet. I have read about numerous problems
with other Titans. Interior door panels are starting to separate at gaps.
Starting to find minor warping in door panels. Paint blemish after bird
dropping on tailgate for less than 24 hours, and not in the direct sunlight.
(sub-standard paint ?) I could go on, but I am not trying to Slander Nissan.
I just hope they view websites like this one. They need lots of improvement
from Canton, MS plant.

Review:
Traded my '01 F150 for a suposed better vehicle. One rattle with my Ford
after 40K miles. Currently, I have a ghost mettalic rattle under the dash
that cannot be found. The right leaf spring chirps over any little bump. The
A/C is leaking under the passenger side carpet. I have already had the
Radiator replaced due to leak at 3K miles. I also had the external oil
cooler replaced due to maintenance putting a whole in it-not Nissan's fault.
It also has a paint blemish--see Cons, below. Needless to say, I purchased
the Titan because it is Japanese based. I thought they were better than the
big 3. This is my first Nissan, and most likely my last. Now, I wished I
would have kept my Ford, or bought a new one. The Titan is going to the shop
on 19 July. I hope this thing doesn't accrue more, larger rattles in a few
years. Would I suggest a new Titan today. No, I would not.
