Pros:
Looks, ride, handling, power, and towing capacities.
|
Cons:
The dealers over here do not carry any of the accessories
including the towing gear. The interior could be of better
quality (the only exception are the seats and layout).

Review:
Just got the truck less than a week ago. Overall I am very
satisfied. Mine is a 2006 LE bought over here in the UAE. The
standard LE comes with the 4X4 package over here because most
people will take it to the desert from time to time. Oddly
enough the towing package is not available here, so I will have
to install a hitch and receiver myself. The truck has a very
solid and stable feel. I am very impressed how it handles at
highway speeds. It tracks true and has plenty of passing power.
Comfort while driving is exceptional due to the six way power
seats. The air conditioning has no problem keeping up with the
45c + temperatures we experience here in the gulf although there
was some uneven cooling. This was helped after I had V-Kool
window treatments installed on all windows. I must agree with
previous comments regarding the quality of the interior. It is
not the best, but I knew this going in. No rattles so far. Once
I get this thing broke in I will right more as I am planing to
take this bad boy to the desert.

The 06 LE 4X4 Armada has lots of room. I got the 2nd row with
captains chairs much nicer than the bench seat. Heated leather
seats great but would like air con seats option too.Lots of
power. I got the Gps with back up camera, convenient but
aftermarket gps would be alot cheaper. No problems with truck so
far. Just passed 20,000 miles and had to replace tires "mountain
driving" but the front brakes still had 50 percent left so I
expect to get 40,000 miles out of the brake pads not bad. I put
a T-Rex Billet Grille on it and chrome door pillar post covers
which dressed the truck up nicely. I Drive in snow regularly and
the Armada handles great. Gas mileage sucks 14mpg at best, but I
didn't buy the truck for the gas mileage. Overall nice truck and
i'm glad I have it.

Review:
My wife and I was looking at durangos and decided to test
drive the Armada and fell in love with it. We ended up getting a
used 2006 Armada LE fully loaded for $30K and 20K miles. The
vehicle rides great and had more then enough room. We have 2
Britax carseat and my wife can fit comfortly between them (she's
5 feet 7" and about 115 lb). The exterior looks too much like
the Titan head on, but overall its' not bad. To me the interior
looks great, much nicer then the Toyota and American made SUV.
IT's a clean efficient design. The ride is nice and you have a
commanding view of the road. I love the extra room the 2nd row
has. I have a 2 and 3 year old and I can be in the vehicle
buckling them up and not feel to crowded. Plus my daughters
can't kick the back of the passenger seat and dirty it up. The
vehicle definitely has more then enough power for us, we don't
have anything to tow, but it sure can get up and go when we need
it. For what I paid, I don't think I can get a better or more
vehicle for the money. There are a couple of item that are
inconvenient. I find it a little difficult to get the seat belt
on, even though there are adjustment for the height of the belts
(FYI..I am 5 foot 9 and about 150lb). Unless I sit further back,
then it's easier to get on. The other item is the airflow
adjustment, you have to twist it back and forth to increase or
decrease the airflow. It would be nicer if you could just
"crank" it to the flow you want. But the good thing about the
air flow is that you have a multiude of air flow speed. I guess
that is probly the reason for the "twist". The Armada does drink
up gas, but for a V8 I get compariable mileage as I do with my
V6 4Runner. Compared with other large SUV, it ranks right along
side of them. The Armada was plagued with alot of problem when
it first came out, just like most new models. But I think Nissan
has iron most of them out with the 2005 and above models. I was
reluctant about buying the Armada because of that, but I have no
regrets on my purchase. This is a great veh

Review:
The very first week I purchased my Brand New Armada. I drove
home and all the wiper fluid was on the ground, broken fluid
tank. I was going out of town that same day!!! I went back to
Nissan very pissed, they were very helpful, they took a new one
off another Armada and put it on mines. Okay that same week!!!
by now I am really pissed. The back window latch broken, would
not open!! Took it in once again very helpful, by now I'm ready
to take this vehicle back. The second week weather change, tire
deflation light came on and would not go out. Then just a few
days ago pull up in service the front console for you shades,
garage door opener was stuck would not open. Well I have
not had anymore problems yet! I am loving the Armada Now!! If I had
to do it over again, I would still get the Armada.
