Pros:

Great engine, 3 row seats, 3 zone climate control.

Cons:

Poor quality control, less than great reliability, mechanical issues, electrical issues, rust, high maintenance costs, horrible Bose sound system.

Review:

The 2006 SE 4x4 was my third Pathfinder and will be the last. The engine is a joy, plenty of torque and decent power but that isn't enough to save this truck.
I have 80,000 miles on it and in the past year, spent well over $6000 in repairs, none of which are covered under warranty. In the past year alone, the timing belt was replaced, numerous hoses, front drive shafts (due to rust), rear U-joints (rust) and now the rear control arms need replacing (guess what... rust).
Tire pressure sensor is also problematic and not worth the cost to replace.
Climate control will randomly get stuck on a random temperature and the only way to get it back to normal is to shut off the engine and restart. Reminds me of something made by Microsoft and not Nissan.
Stay away from this one guys.

Nicely designed and roomy inside

Cons:

Numerous recalls and and very little help if any taking care of their own manufacturer problems

Review:

I bought a 2006 Nissan Pathfinder used with only 35,000 back in 2009. I never had a Nissan before but heard very good things about the old Pathfinders. I was happy with my Nissan Pathfinder until after it hit 97,000 miles. All services have been done at Maroone Nissan in Miami,Fl. Last year had the car checked out at the Dealer from top to bottom and all services done. Just recently had the radiator leak fluids into the transmission, long story short, I need a new radiator and transmission. Nissan says because the mileage they will cover a part and I will have to a co-payment of $3000.00, biggest co-payment ever had to pay for anything. My car is under 100,000 miles and I don't use it for hauling there is no reason that I should have to pay for a Manufacturer's mistake. As fast as I became a Nissan fan I changed my mind even quicker. In 2 or 3 years I thought about buying a truck and it looks like I am jumping on Ford's band wagon instead of Nissan. I need an auto com pany that can back me up with good service and not partial service. More than anything I am disappointed because until recently

Pros:

Horsepower

Cons:

Run from this vehicle, Quality Control the worst. My 98 Pathfinder did 265,000 miles no problems. Will not buy another unless alot of changes are made and expect no help from Nissan. They will not own up to recalls

Review:

Aweful SUV, Peeling Paint around front windshield,Gas Tank is warped thus no gas gauge, Bose stereo will not play ANY CD's, Plastic Pieces falling off. Get rid of Factory Tires they give a rough ride.
