Pros:
Awesome car for the money. Really love the
cool options. Rockford fosgate Speakers are really good for the price and
the Aux in is a huge blessing for hooking up any mp3 player or phone. 6 disc
Cd changer is also cool feature to impress friends. The rear spoiler looks
really awesome and really gives the car a nice sporty look. The alloy wheels
are also something people notice. Decent mileage and very low emissions so
good for environment. Cruise control is really useful in the freeways.
Overall very happy

Cons:
Terrible leg room in the back. very bad pickup but once you are at 40,
pickup is better. expected more mileage than i am getting. getting 31 on Hwy
but only 22-24 in city.

Review:
This car is perfect for first time buyers
esp if you get it with the special edition. Overall drive is pretty good and
not many issues so far. Had to change my Power steering fluid and some minor
tuneup after 10000 miles which cost me around 200$ but apart from that it
has been good to me.

Pros:
Price. 16" alloy rims. Solid body with plenty of sound deadening.
Excellent creature features. Comfortable seats on long trips. Decent ride.
Good economy.
|
Cons:
Brakes are a bit weak. Could use rear discs. A/C comes on when not
wanted. Guy on a Nissan forum complain of the pre-cat dissolving and bits
getting sucked into exhaust and score cylinder walls causing oil consumption
& engine loss. There is a recall but it's a

2006 Sentra 1.8 S Special Addition. Purchased car new. Had driven a Kia
Rio but local dealers tacked on $2500.00 over sticker. Honda and Toyota also
marked their cars up over sticker. Nissan was offering $2000.00 cash back.
My prior car was a '85 BMW 325e with Ricaro seats and several special
options. The Sentra rides and drives similar to the BMW but BMW's are spring
stiffer. I prefer rear-wheel-drive and do miss that from the BMW. Sentra's
interior layout is very nice, trunk space is good. Overall I like the car
and would recommend it to a friend.

Pros:
Fuel mileage, Rockford Fosgate 6 CD head unit, lots of options w/ 1.8S Special Edition.
|
Cons:
Anemic performance despite a 1.8L, cheap interior materials, dowdy styling
|
Review:
I have a 2006 1.8 Special Edition Pkg. 1.8L engine is anemic. Interior
wreaks of cheap plastic materials w/ ample rattles and squeaks. Does have
excellent fuel mileage and creature comforts. This would be a good choice
for students or first-time buyers. Not a good commuter vehicle for owners
over 6 feet tall. Rear seat legroom is non-existent.

Pros:
-Stand out paint color, electric blue.
-Black interior looks sharp
-Good turning radius
-Good fuel economy
-Good price for options
|
Cons:
-At 10,000 miles Throttle Position problems occur.
- Lacks power, lulls through acceleration, then skips to high RPMs
- Even worse stopping power
- Even though the stereo is RockFord Fausgate, speakers crackle.

Review:
I just decided to buy a Nissan Sentra 1.8S Special edition in September
of 05 and have been proudly driving the car ever since. At first I thought
the car would be a step down in quality then the car I got rid of, but it
turns out that all in all this car is fun. HOWEVER, at 10,000 miles I
started getting a "Service Engine Soon" warning with the code 2135... TPS,
Throttle Positioning Malfunction. Historically the owners of 2005's have
informed me that they've had several enging problems, including have to
replace their engines several times. I'm crossing my fingers hoping that I
don't have similar drama. As of today, there are no recalls on the vehicle.

Pros:
Good comfort and visibility. Decent fuel milage
|
Cons:
Engine a bit underpowered, but then this IS an economy car, not a sports car.
|
Review:
This is the first Nissan product I've owned, and in the 3k miles I've
driven it I have no real complaints. The vehicle does the job I ask of it
with no problems and decent comfort, safety and fuel economy. The 1.8L
engine may be a tad underpowered for the vehicle, but its a decent trade off
for lower fuel costs. I've only had a few squeaks and rattles, and then only
when the temperature drops well below 0F.
