Pros:

Handling, style, comfort. It just looks sooooo good, better than the new body style 2009 and over. It's the big body.

Cons:

Gas mileage, of course, it's a performance car. Looking for a headlamp, what a fiasco.

Review:

I truly love my Maxima, 3rd one. It is all is says "MAXIMA". You can't get any better

Pros:

Stylish, comfortable, power, smart key

Cons:

Had to take off front bumper to replace headlight. Looks too much like an Altima.

Review:

Love my Maxima. Good power when you need it. Comfortable seats in the front & back. Stock sound system is excellent.

Pros:

Looks, luxury features

Cons:

"unfixable" steering wheel shimmy

Review:

The dealership claims this is normal but I disagree. I would have never baught this car if I knew it was going to do this. Unacceptible for a $32,000 car!!!

Pros:

very good acceleration. handles well around curves

Cons:

poor cruising drivability. feels like a 20 year old junker some times. poor customer service at dealer.

Review:

I bought this car as soon as it came out. 15k later it had a shimmy in the front end and I've spent countless hours at the dealer and 4k of my own cash trying to fix it. still has the shimmy but dealer denies anything is wrong. my loss I guess.

Pros:

Engine, transmission, styling

Cons:

Handling, turning radius

Review:

Excellent acceleration and performance. The VQ engine is well-deserved as the longest consecutive (14 years) winner of Ward's 10 best engines. The new "Xtronic" CVT is a winner too and really compliments the power and smoothness of the VQ35DE engine. It looks as good as it drives. Excellent inferior fit and finish with plenty of room and very comfortable on long trips.

No significant negatives, only some suggestions for improvement... The handling still isn't tight enough for my liking. The SE model should have received a true sports suspension (more like the one used in the Altima SER). I have some other minor gripes with the electronics, instruments and lighting, but they are not significant enough to lessen or detract from all the positive aspects of this car.

Overall, its an outstanding car for the money. I've owned my Maxima SE for 10 months now and I have not had a single problem so far. I am very pleased with this car.
