Pros:

Cold Package, NAVI, Leather Seats, Bluetooth Streaming Audio, User friendly interface. LED lights

Cons:

Gas mileage could be better - 19-20mpg average. Complicated bluetooth phone usage(asks you bunch of questions before dialing a number) At low speeds CVT is not very responsive, keeps you at high gear ratio

Review:

I love the look of the new Maxima. Super handling, great acceleration and braking. Very stable at high speeds and the wind noise is minimal. Cold package is a must have if you live up north, it will make you spoiled. The Nav system is super easy to use and the bluetooth streaming audio is absolutely perfect. Very few cars have DVD in dash like this car. You can also plug in a PS3 or Xbox and play games watching on the front screen. Overall this is the best car for the money. Great value.

Pros:

Great turning radius, music box, audio steaming, horse power and torque, leg room, iPod interface, heated steering wheel, cooled drivers seat, the view over the hood, navigation system, plays dvd's in park, backup camera, 18" wheels, dual moon roof, thigh support extention on driver's seat, keyless entry and start, leather seats, CVT, dual zone HVAC, power tilt/telescopic steering wheel, memory for outside mirros, seat and steering wheel position and rear window shade.

Cons:

No auto-dim on passenger mirror, no compass in mirror with Nav package. No cooled passenger seat option, outside temp in odd place, tilt wheel hides guages, need more freedom to put music on music box other than from a CD, some controls hard to use (heated/cooled seat switch), rear window shade assembly rattles on certain bumps

Review:

I just upgraded from a 2000 Maxima. Wow, 11 years makes a big difference in improvements. From the steering wheel feel to the CVT performance. I am 6'3" and I have plenty of leg room. Acceleration is intuitive and responsive. The iPod interface works great with my iPhone for both audio streaming and plugged into the usb port. The CVT seems to run in the sweet spot at all times in normal driving mode. Switching to Ds mode and there are six simulated fixed gear ratios to give a nostalgic feeling. Mine has the paddle shifter's which I found handy driving on very hilly roads that require engine braking.

The suspension is firm enough to feel sporty but loose enough to cushion everyday travel. I find the experience of driving the Maxima fun. There is no torque steer under heavy acceleration. The bumps in the road are not transfered to the steering wheel.
